 Guidelines for Performing Lakshmi Ganapathi Homam

1. Preparation – Clean the house, take a bath, and set up the homa kundam (fire altar).
2. Decoration – Use flowers, mango leaves, and rangoli for a divine atmosphere.
3. Invocation of Lord Ganapathi & Goddess Lakshmi – Place the Ganapathi Idol/Yantra and chant the Ganapathi & Lakshmi Mantras.
4. Sacred Fire – Light the fire using samith wood, cow dung cakes, and ghee.
5. Offerings into the Fire – Include ghee, rice, navadhanyam, and samith wood.
6. Chanting of Mantras – Recite Ganapathi Atharvashirsha, Lakshmi Stotra, and Ganapathi Gayatri Mantra.
7. Abhishekam – Perform Ganapathi Abhishekam with Panchamritam.
